Accessibility Solutions for Bellefontaine Residents & Businesses
Bellefontaine holds a unique place in Ohio history—it is home to the first concrete street in America and sits near Campbell Hill, the highest point in the state. The downtown square, anchored by the beautifully restored Holland Theatre, reflects a community that values preservation and staying power. For Bellefontaine residents who want to remain in their homes as mobility needs change, Messer & Co. provides wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and bathroom accessibility modifications built with the same quality and durability this city is known for.
The scenic Logan County countryside surrounding Bellefontaine means many homes sit on rolling terrain that adds complexity to exterior accessibility projects. From the historic residences near the downtown square to the properties along the routes toward Mad River Mountain ski area, our team encounters a wide range of elevation changes, lot configurations, and architectural styles. We engineer ramp systems that handle hillside grades, design switchback layouts where straight runs are not feasible, and install stair lifts in the steep interior staircases common in Bellefontaine's older two-story homes.
Bellefontaine's hilly topography presents accessibility challenges that flat-terrain communities do not face. Our experience with sloped lots, elevated front porches, and walkout basements allows us to design solutions that other installers might overlook—including multi-level ramp systems, platform lifts for significant elevation changes, and weatherproof finishes that stand up to the wind and snow exposure common at Ohio's higher elevations.
We serve communities throughout Logan County including De Graff, Lakeview, Russells Point, West Liberty, and Zanesfield. Our team also works in neighboring Champaign and Hardin county areas, bringing consistent quality and service across the region.
